Vantage has more than 60,000 pharmacies in our network and has contracts with pharmacies that equal or exceed Medicare's requirements for pharmacy access in your area.

Eligible beneficiaries must use network pharmacies to access their prescription drug benefits, except under non-routine circumstances when they cannot reasonably use network pharmacies.

The Medicare Prescription Drug Benefit is only available to members of the Vantage Medicare Advantage plan.  If you are already enrolled in a MA-PD plan, you must receive your Medicare Prescription Drug Benefit through that plan.

The directory is current as of January 21, 2008.  The pharmacy’s listing in the Directory does not guarantee the pharmacy is still in the network.  The inclusion of a pharmacy does not guarantee that the pharmacy is open or is at the same location as listed in the Directory.

Mail-Order Prescription Drug Services

You are not required to use mail-order prescription drug services to obtain their extended supplies of maintenance medications.  If a retail pharmacy does agree to accept the mail-order reimbursement rate for an extended supply of medications, you should have no out-of-pocket payment differences.  If a retail pharmacy does not agree to accept the mail-order reimbursement rate but has accepted an alternative retail/mail-order pharmacy rate for an extended supply of medications, you will be liable for any difference in charge.  The maximum expected turnaround time for the processing and shipment of all mail orders is 2-5 days.  When you order prescription drugs through our network mail-order-pharmacy service, you must order at least a 90-day supply, and no more than a 90-day supply of the drug. Not all Specialty Drugs (Tier 4) are available through 90-day supply mail-order-pharmacy service.  Should your mail order be delayed, you may call Vantage Health Plan, Inc. at 318-361-0900 or toll free 888-823-1910 (TTY/TDD 318-361-2131 or toll free 866-524-5144) to request authorization to obtain a supply of medication from a retail network pharmacy until your mail order is received.
