Great News for Vantage Medicare Advantage Members!

VHP will pay out of network providers as in-network if you have an authorization to see them.

An authorization to see an out of network primary care doctor will last a year. You don’t have to call each time you see them. Hopefully your provider will be in plan next year but if not, you can continue to get authorizations a year at a time. An authorization to see an out of network specialist can be for individual visits or up to a year depending on the situation.

Procedures that require a separate authorization will still require a separate authorization.
